My Journey in the Sheet Metal Industry
I began my career in the sheet metal industry in 2001 as an installer with H&G Systems. To be honest, I had no idea what I was doing at the time. I didn’t even know how to use the tools properly — but that never stopped me from giving it my absolute best.
I kept showing up, determined to learn and grow. I asked questions, studied the people around me — especially those who knew their craft and were willing to share their knowledge. I paid attention, learned from every mistake, and kept pushing forward.
Just one year later, in 2002, I was promoted at H&G Systems to become a mechanical installer. I couldn’t believe it. That recognition, after all the effort I had put in, gave me even more motivation. I didn’t stop there. I kept learning, improving, and striving to be the best version of myself.
By my third year in the business, I was promoted once again — this time to Supervisor. I was trusted with my first major job: renovating the Republic Tower. I was excited and nervous, but I made myself a promise — no matter what challenges came my way, I wouldn’t give up. And I didn’t.
Through hard work and perseverance, I earned multiple recognitions and brought new life to some incredible projects like One Dallas Center, Mayflower Apartments, The National, The Continental, and the Energy Plaza Building, just to name a few. I always aimed to exceed expectations, and that dedication paid off. From being a Top 3 Supervisor, I eventually earned the title of Number One Supervisor in the company.
It was a dream come true. The little boy who once came to a new country with big hopes had finally achieved what he set out to do.
But my journey didn’t stop there.
In 2020, I opened a new chapter as a subcontractor, providing manpower to companies that needed extra help on their projects. I kept thinking about how I could do even more — not just for myself, but for my kids and their future. Then, in 2024, the light bulb went off: If I knew everything about the industry, why not supply it too?
That’s when I opened my own Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop.
Today, I’m proud to say I’m still here — focused, dedicated, and committed to providing the best of the best sheet metal for your future projects. Every step of this journey has shaped who I am, and I’m excited for what’s still to come.
